Has anyone used Aveda cosmetics? I'm falling out of love with Bare Minerals. I love Aveda's hair stuff, but their make-up is so pricey that I'm reluctant to try it unless I love it.

Tue, August 7, 2007 - 4:45 PMThe few things I did try I was not happy with. The pigment was difficult to see on my skin. I had to do a multi-step process of putting a really light base so things would stand out. I never tried any more. Why are you falling out of love with Bare Essentials? -

I stopped liking BE because I felt like I put it on, it looked good for about 15 minutes and then it would gather in all the creases in my skin. I felt like it actually made me look older than I am. My mother thought I was putting too much of it on, but I experimented with about a dozen methods of putting it on and it all looked the same.
I did switch to a powder from Aveda that I like. I forget the exact name of the product, but I do like it.
